A Nurse, a Mother, a Minnesotan Ready to Serve
Patty grew up on a small farm in Minnesota, the ninth of eleven children. She learned early how to fight for what she wanted, the value of hard work and responsibility, and the value of an education — all instilled in her by her parents, both college graduates who emphasized service and integrity.
Following in her mother's footsteps, Patty earned her nursing degree from the University of Minnesota. She spent 31 years as a cardiac nurse at the University of Minnesota Hospital, later became a Licensed School Nurse in ISD 621, and today serves as a Nurse Manager at a medical clinic.
Married for 38 years, Patty and her husband are proud parents of three adult children whose own families are now growing. Her deep concern for the well-being of all Minnesotans — regardless of age, race, creed, or background — guides her commitment to serve the residents of House District 36B.

Stop Fraud & Abuse
Since 2019, non-government organizations have stolen over $2 billion from Minnesota taxpayers — and no state official has been held accountable.
- Supported the establishment of the independent Office of Inspector General
- Reduce the size and cost of state government
- Remove all taxes on Social Security
Lower Taxes
Minnesota is now the 6th highest-taxed state in the nation, with double-digit increases in 2026 despite a massive budget surplus.
- Cut wasteful spending before raising taxes
- Protect seniors and working families from rate hikes
- Support small businesses with tax and regulatory relief
Elevate Student Outcomes
Minnesota schools have fallen from 6th to 19th in the nation, even as nearly 40% of the state budget funds public education.

Re-Establish Community Safety
“Without law and order, we are not a free people.” Fully fund and staff our police departments and let officers do their jobs.
